Roberts Park United Methodist Church
Concert Series Mailer
Roberts Park United Methodist Church is a church in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. This mailer promoted a music series hosted at the historic church and was mailed to local churches, schools and businesses. The piece folds twice to reveal a poster which has the concert series schedule which can then be posted.
Budget-conscious, the piece was printed in only two colors but used a matte ink for the purple color and a gloss ink for the green, giving the appearance of a spot varnish.

The Indianapolis Zoo is one of the very few zoos in the United States that is privately funded. Consequently, zoo memberships are crucial to their survival. This piece had a theme of "Connection and Discovery" and featured the four habitats found in the natural world as well as the zoo's new "Oceans of the World" exhibit. The copy and graphics helped support the idea that the oceans of the world connect us all and that the Indianapolis Zoo is a place to discover and reconnect with the natural world.
This was a five-panel, roll fold piece that included a tear off, self-mailing membership form and envelope.

Community Hospital
Postcard Series
Postcard series developed to promote the Community Hospital Health Information Network. The proposed cards would feature a specific health issue common to a particular time of year (sunburn in summer, for example). The timing of the mailing would be coordinated accordingly. Although the health issue would change per mailing, the design, typography and most importantly, photographic style would remain consistent to reinforce the idea of a series.

These were meant to be quickly produced, inexpensive and fast-hitting. Thus, the images to be used were inexpensive, easily available stock photography.
