University High School of Indiana
2007 - 2008 Annual Report
University High School of Indiana is a private, purposely small, college preparatory, high school. Because a variety of relationships are so vital to the success of a private school, University High School chose "Relationships" as the theme for this annual report.
Typography and photography were used to illustrate the various types of relationships so critical to the school's success, from the obvious Student/Teacher, Parent/Student relationships to the less obvious, but just as critical ones like Students/Community. This annual report was posted online but was designed to be downloaded and printed if desired.

The Walther Cancer Foundation is an independent, private grant-making foundation committed to eliminating cancer by supporting and promoting basic laboratory, clinical and behavioral research.
The 1997 - 1998 annual report utilized a theme of "Curing Cancer through Collaboration." This theme was expressed with a stylized "Collaboration" graphic and large "collaboration" pull quotes. Since cost was a factor and the supplied photography was "less than perfect," printing was done in two colors and the photos were given a slightly more "artsy" treatment. The final report was wrapped in a blank, uncoated jacket, sealed with a "Collaboration" sticker.

Indianapolis Zoological Society
1991 Annual Report
The theme of this annual report for the Indianapolis Zoo was one of "family." The report was given a family album look using earthy and natural paper stocks and colors.
The project was very budget conscious and printed in two colors. A die cut short sheet page was donated by a supplier giving the piece a nice variety of page size and paper stocks throughout. Each short sheet highlighted a zoo employee, volunteer or donor. Different animals were given their own "seal-like" treatments to suggest that they, along with zoo employees, volunteers and donors make up the real zoo family.
